Porch, in partner with Green Loop Marketing, has been working with ICAN and ICRUD on a campaign that brings awareness to drinking habits and mental health. As a part of our Holiday campaign, our team decided to try out some mock-tail recipes!
This holiday, we urge you to try these mock-tails too. Created by a local mixologist, Brandon Wright, they’re too good to pass up.
Cold Brew Joy:
.5 oz Orgeat (Almond Simple Syrup)
.5 oz Simple
.75 oz Almond Milk
2 oz Espresso
Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice and shake for 15-20 seconds or until well chilled. Strain into a chilled glass. Garnish with 3 coffee beans.
Nojito:
6-8 Mint Leaves
1oz Orgeat (almond simple syrup)
1oz Lime Juice
Top with Soda Water
Lightly muddle mint leaves and orgeat syrup in a shaker. Add lime juice and ice, give it a brief shake, and strain into a chilled glass over fresh ice. Top with soda water. Garnish with mint leaves.
Coco Loco:
¾ oz of Lemon
¾ oz Orgeat (Almond Simple Syrup)
1 oz Coconut Juice
1 oz Coconut Water
Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice and shake for 15-20 seconds or until well chilled. Strain into a chilled glass. Garnish with lemon.
Eggnog Milkshake:
1 part Eggnog
2 parts Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until mixed. Serve in a glass. Garnish with nutmeg.
