Ind. (9.30.2022)—Indianapolis marketing agency, Porch Marketing, has announced the edition of senior producer, Austin Francalancia. Amidst the agency’s biggest sales year to date, Francalancia brings a wealth of experience on award-winning projects to add to the growing team of creatives.

“Austin’s extensive background in producing a wide-array of creatively powerful and impactful work is exactly what Porch is all about,” said Heather Brogdon, Owner + Creative Director, Porch Marketing. “With a focus on developing new partnerships and opportunities alongside current clients, Austin’s expertise will help increase our service offerings to the community with a focus on new, creative products.”

Francalancia is one of two new employees, and the agency also plans to add two additional staff members within the next six months. With a focus on longer form documentaries, video integration in digital strategy, and full-agency contracts, Francalancia is ready—and has the skills needed—to get to work.

“As a former film and television production executive, I’ve worked on Oscar and Emmy-winning productions that include Spotlight, Chef and Nightcrawler,” said Francalancia. “I’m eager to join the Porch team, and I very much look forward to disrupting the way media content is created in Indiana.”

Over the past seven years, Francalancia has been an independent producer creating and overseeing production on award-winning documentary features and series such as The Mars Generation (Netflix) and Changing the Game (Hulu) as well as scripted features such as Borat Subsequent Moviefilm. He’s also been nominated for a Peabody, four Emmys and produced the Cannes Lion Titanium winner, The Lost Class, for Leo Burnett Chicago. Francalancia is also an adjunct professor at Indiana University’s Media School.

“Heather and her team share the same aspirations that I do as a storyteller,” said Francalancia. “Impactful storytelling not only helps redefine communities, but it captivates audiences, pays homage to history, and challenges viewers to consider different perspectives. I’m looking forward to making short and long form content more accessible in a way that benefits Indy in meaningful ways.”
